How It Works

  • Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave (FMCW) Radar

Emits a radar signal into the tank and measures the time it takes for the signal to bounce back from the content surface. The system dynamically varies the frequency of the wave (chirp), allowing it to calculate precise fill levels, even in mixed or foamy materials.

  • Dielectric Signal Interpretation

Measures how radar energy is absorbed or scattered by the container contents. Since liquids, sludge, and gases each interact differently with electromagnetic fields, we can differentiate material types over time and flag abnormal changes.

  • AI-Powered Pattern Recognition

Beyond raw signal returns, our AI models learn from historical patterns. If your tank fills typically over 28 days and suddenly fills in 10, Percepta flags that behavior. If sludge is behaving differently due to chemical imbalance or infiltration, we see that too.
